Easy Homemade Jam (Low or No Sugar!)

Make fresh, customizable jam using Fit Lane Nutrition Low or No Sugar Pectin. Add as much—or as little—sugar as you like!

Makes: 6 jars (8 oz each)


INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups prepared fruit

  • 1 cup unsweetened juice

  • 4 ½ Tbsp Fit Lane Low or No Sugar Pectin

  • 1 cup sugar
    (For a true no-sugar version, follow the adjusted measurements in the Ball guide.)


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare Your Canning Set-Up
Heat your water-bath or steam canner. Sterilize jars, lids, and bands so everything is ready when the jam is hot.

2. Cook the Jam
Combine the fruit, unsweetened juice, and pectin in a pot. Stir well, bring to a full boil, then add the sugar. Return to a hard rolling boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

3. Fill the Jars
Ladle the hot jam into hot jars, leaving ¼" headspace. Remove air bubbles, wipe rims clean, place lids, and tighten bands to fingertip-tight.

4. Process the Jars
Process for 10 minutes, adjusting for altitude:
+5 min (1,001–3,000 ft)
+10 min (3,001–6,000 ft)
+15 min (6,001–8,000 ft)
+20 min (8,001–10,000 ft)

5. Cool & Store
Let jars rest 12–24 hours undisturbed. Remove bands, check seals, wash jars, label, and store in a cool, dark place.
