Vegan Strawberry Boba (Tapioca-Free!)
A fun, kid-friendly kitchen project ā and totally vegan thanks to agar agar, our favorite plant-based gelatin substitute.
š Ingredients

1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries š

1 cup water

2 tsp agar agar powder

1/4 cup maple syrup (or your favorite liquid sweetener)
šŖ Directions

Blend it up: Combine strawberries, water, agar agar, and maple syrup in a blender and puree until smooth.

Heat & dissolve: Pour into a saucepan and bring to a full boil. Keep it boiling for 3ā4 minutes while stirring ā this step ensures the agar agar activates properly.

Fill the molds: Carefully pour the hot mixture into boba molds or any small silicone mold.

Chill: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the pearls are firm.

Enjoy: Pop them out and add to your favorite strawberry milk or iced drink. So good! šš
⨠Tip: Agar agar sets quickly as it cools ā work fast when pouring into the molds for perfectly round pearls.
